Spring into Fitness!

Its time to say goodbye to the cold winter nights and hello to the warm summer evenings, the days are getting longer and now is the time to get into summer shape. Remember small steps ladies!

Tips and Tricks:

Start small go for a 30 minute jog/walk.

Try look up some YouTube yoga videos (Blogilates).

Walk to town or the shop instead.

Go in groups with your friends to classes. like swimming, Zumba or dance classes!


Water, water, water!!! (Tired of your water being bland? Try adding fruit or vitamin infusions).

Try to limit the amount of processed food you eat. Natural is better!

Reach for fruit and vegetables instead of crisps or chocolate.

Try to make a planned meal guided for the week and pack your own school lunch the night before.


We have tried and tested these yummy energy giving goodies!

Apples and Peanut Butter : The fruit gives you the sweet craving and the protein from the nuts keeps you going for longer!

Yoghurt and Granola :Greek yoghurt and some granonla (seeds, trail mix, raisins)

Carrots and Hummus : Chop up some carrots and 2 teaspoons of hummus.

Porridge and Fruit : It keeps you going!

Vegetable soup : Home-made vegetable soup is so good to get your five-a-day in. Try carrots, parsnips, celery and turnip!

Rivitas and cheese: Any wholemeal crackers and dairy!
