On the 8th of June 2011, over 56,000 students across Ireland sat the Junior Certificate, 88 of them from our school, Laurel Hill Secondary. As we waited that day, for our English papers, we wait again this week, for our results! As nerve wrecking as it is, only three days are now left until the truth is revealed! All we can hope for now, is that the long study days with Treasa and Alison will have been worth it (but we can’t say they weren’t fun). And it can be said for all, that we cannot wait to celebrate that night! Let the countdown begin, and good luck to everyone!
There’s only couple of more days of waiting for the current fourth year students. The Junior Certificate results are finally around the corner after a long summer’s wait. All the stress and worry will finally be over on the 14th of September. Hopefully each student will receive their deserved marks.
My advice for third year students is to start studying now! Don’t wait for everyone else to begin or two months before the Junior Certificate as you will regret it. Cramming in three years work, into two months is not advisable. Make sure to make a study plan and follow it. If you do so it will help to avoid unnecessary stress and worry. Another tip is to limit your social life for the year as it will create more study time. It might sound boring but it will benefit you in the long run.
