Its sports day tomorrow so dont forget to wear your P.E gear into school so you can join in the fun games which will be held all over the school. Good luck to all those taking part in the activities tomorrow. We here at Topbutton would like to say thanks to all the P.E teachers who helped organise the day. Last Thursday all Fourth Years went on their annual summer day out to Fota Island. They then went to Cork City to do a bit of shopping. In the end everyone had a grear day and enjoyed themselves.

Transition Year Graduation

This Wednesday the transition year students will be having their graduation night. They will be displaying work which they have been working all year on and we wish them the best of luck. 

An Outing to Remember

Transition Years spent today, Thursday the 10th of May, in Cork on their final transition year outing. It involved a trip to Fota Island where there were various exhibitions including a cheetah run! The girls then continued the day with a bit of shopping where they then returned to Limerick. A big thanks to the TY Committee for organising the outing.

Ty Trip to Cork!

The transition years are heading away tomorrow morning on their day trip to cork which was organised by the TY committee and the ty co-ordinator Mr McKenna. They will first be heading into Fota Wildlife Park for and tour and then off into Cork city for a bit of shopping. Everyone is excited and cant wait to get going!

All of us here at Topbutton hope it all goes well for them and that the weather is good. We wish them the best and that they have a great time together!

Bake Sale!

Patrick 4 and Loyola 4 are holding a bake sale on Friday the 11th of May and they would appreciate your support. The bake sale will take place in the Concert Hall at 12.36 and it is an animal themed bake sale in order to raise funds for Bothar. They will be sponsoring Fiona Ryan, a past pupil from Laurel Hill, as she does a 4 marathon a day run for 4 days this summer along  the Camino de Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain in order to raise money for Bothar. Patrick 4 and Loyola 4 would appreciate your help on friday to help Fiona this summer!

We hope you can get involved and help them by buying something on the day!

Laurel Hill Girls did the school proud  when both the Senior A and Senior B teams both secured first place to win them the Máire Horigan cup for the fourth consecutive year! Well done girls!
