It has come to this time of the year, where we have to say goodbye to Topbutton and its followers. We hope to pass on the blog to our future 4th years, but for now we must reminise on the blogs best moments.
To begin it started off in choosing our editiorial team and liason. This was the basis of forming Topbutton.
Editiors 2011-2012
Meaghan Collins, Nicole Cooney, Emily Clifford, Aisling Murphy, Jennifer Mackey and Gillian Ronan.
- It has been a very sucessful year for our blog with memories of our first 1,000 views to now our massive 35,573 views. We would like to thank all our followers for their contineous support.
- Topbutton was also nominated for the Eircom Junior Spiders awards ‘Best Web design’ award. The topbutton team travelled to Dublin for the awards and had an unforgettable day! This was a great achievment for the team.
- Also, we would like to thank Hannah Clifford for her amazing logo. Hannah won the logo competition back in November and her creation will continue on with topbutton in the future.
- As well as posts and pictures, topbutttons video crew really started to shine towards the end of the year with videos interviewing many past teachers, school committees and videos even from the peaks of croagh partick! The standards of these videos were great and much work went into the production of them.
- And lastly you cant have a school without knowing what teacher has the cutest pet !! Mrs, Thompson was the lucky winner of this special title !!
Very lastly…….from everyone at topbutton, we would like to thank Ms.Herlihy for her patience and dedication with both the blog and students involved. Without her there wouldnt be a Topbutton for us to enjoy !! We also wish all students undergoing exams the best of luck!! Do us proud, we know ye will!! Have a great summer.

Girls ms herlihy here. I love ye’re last post. It really sums it up. I loved being a part of topbutton this year and am so proud of topbutton and so proud of ye. Ye were a joy to work with as young professionals and no doubt ye will be very successful in the future.
